In Act, Interrupted I explore the weight of waiting, disorientation, stillness, and the quiet acts of resistance. It draws from my personal experience as an immigrant body navigating the mechanisms of bureaucracy, and grew further while I was questioning: “The body resists, but how? How can I reclaim my body in a system that denies its movement?”. Through physicality, movement, and text, I immerse the viewer into a space of uncertainty, resilience, hope, and the will to reclaim action from interruption.
